**MLB ANNOUNCES 2025 REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE**

The 2025 Championship Season will open with the Tokyo Series Presented by Guggenheim between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago Cubs. This Opening Series at Tokyo Dome marks the 25th anniversary of the first-ever regular season games played in Japan in 2000.

Other key highlights of the 2025 season include “Rivalry Weekend” from May 16th-18th, all 30 clubs playing on the traditional Opening Day on Thursday, March 27th, and the 95th All-Star Game Presented by Mastercard at Truist Park in Atlanta on July 15th.

The Tokyo Series, featuring the Dodgers’ Oshu, Japan native Shohei Ohtani and Bizen, Japan native Yoshinobu Yamamoto against the Cubs’ Kitakyushu, Japan native Shota Imanaga and Arakawa, Japan native Seiya Suzuki, will be held on March 18th and 19th at the Tokyo Dome. This will be the sixth time MLB opens its regular season in Tokyo, following the last games there in 2019 between the Mariners and Athletics.

Traditional Opening Day will feature 15 games, including four divisional matchups and five Interleague contests. The prime Interleague rivals will now play six matchups instead of four, with each of the 30 clubs playing two fewer games against non-division league opponents.

The 95th All-Star Game on July 15th at Truist Park in Atlanta will be the ballpark’s first Midsummer Classic and the third overall hosted by the Braves in Atlanta. The final day of the 2025 regular season will be Sunday, September 28th, featuring eight divisional matchups.
