In 2015, under coach Hajime Moriyasu, they won their third J1 title and finished third in the Club World Cup. However, from 2016 onwards, the transfer of key players and a congested schedule affected the team, and in 2017 they were in danger of being relegated to J2. When Hiroshi Jofuku took over as manager in 2018, the team returned to second place in the league, and young players such as Keisuke Osako and Hayato Araki continued to rise to prominence. In 2022, under coach Skibbe, they achieved 3rd place in the league and won their first Levain Cup. The team, which is a combination of young players such as Takumu Kawamura and veterans such as Tsukasa Shioya, once again attracted attention. From 2023 onwards, they will earn the right to participate in the ACL with stable strength. We aim for a new golden age by leveraging our foundation as a nurturing club. #j league #soccer #sanfrecce hiroshima
