Gout Gout was the first name on the list as Athletics Australia announced its team for the Tokyo World Championships.
Sprint rival Lachlan Kennedy will compete in the 100 metres, while Athletics Australia remains hopeful Olympic pole vault champion Nina Kennedy can take part in September despite hamstring surgery earlier this month.
