Breakin was adopted at the 2024 Paris Olympics. It’s easier for everyone to understand if you say breakdance. Breakin was a dance that was born in New York in the 1970s, but this one may be more familiar to you as the mass media said it was breakdance. New events are adopted for each tournament, and new events that have been around for now are removed, so why is this the case? Who (organization) decides this? What are the criteria for adoption?
