Akzhol is a two-time World Champion in Greco Roman wrestling from Kyrgyzstan (KGZ). He competes in the 77kg class. He is also a two-time Olympic medalist and is only 26 years old. He very well could be a future all-time great. He won his first world championship in 2022 at the Belgrade, Serbia competition. He defended his world title in 2023 (again in Belgrade). He earned a silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. He’s won the Asian championship three times.

He is dominant in the 50/50 position and is unstoppable once his hands are locked. He has the most creative and devastating headlocks in the world.
