A documentary about Wataru Endo, captain of Japan’s national soccer team, that was closely followed during a soccer class held in China Town, Okinoerabu Island in 2023. The soccer class two years ago was the impetus for the launch of the SEKAI NI WATARU PROJECT, a study abroad support project for parents and children. This project was inspired by my desire to interact with children on the island and encourage children who don’t have the right environment to go out into the world. Under the vision of “nurturing children who can travel and compete with the world,” we provide free study abroad opportunities to children aged 7 to 12, known as the Golden Age. We support parents and children who want to challenge the world in various fields, not just soccer. The first batch of students was announced on October 25th.
