At the Paris 2024 Olympics, German rhythmic gymnast Darja Varfolomeev brought Michael Jackson back to the stage. In her ball routine, she performed to Jackson’s “In the Closet”, wowing both the jury and the crowd. She earned the highest score (36.450 points) which ultimately led to Germany’s first-ever gold medal in rhythmic gymnastics.
