A picture book written by Dodgers player Shohei Otani will be released in February next year. I wrote it with co-author Michael Blank under the title “Decopin’s Special Life”. This is a story for children ages 3 to 7 about Dekopin, who is tasked with throwing the ceremonial first pitch on the day of the opening game, but forgets his precious ball at home. Otani will donate all profits to charity, and the publisher will also donate a portion of the sales.
