Shohei Ohtani spoke at Dodger Fest and gave fans a huge update on what’s next.

Ohtani said this offseason felt more normal since he did not have surgery, and he’s arriving to spring training feeling healthy and on track. He also mentioned how seeing the packed parking lots and the stadium atmosphere again reminded him that the season is officially back, and it got him excited.

The biggest headline? Ohtani confirmed he’s committed to playing in the 2026 World Baseball Classic, and said it’s still undecided whether he will pitch, but he wants to prepare the right way and make the best decision based on his body and his final adjustments.

He also talked about how the Dodgers’ front office continues to build the roster to win, and how he believes the team has taken another step forward this offseason.
