Shohei Ohtani has officially begun his spring training ramp-up — and this time, it’s different.

Ohtani revealed he entered camp in early February and has already thrown 3–4 bullpen sessions, with live BP next on the schedule. For the first time in years, he had a normal offseason without rehab — and he says that changes everything.

He discussed:

⚾ His methodical ramp-up plan
🌍 Preparing for the World Baseball Classic
💪 What a full healthy season means to him
🏆 Why pitching all year is his top priority
🔥 The difference between DH-only postseason and full two-way playoff intensity
👀 Cy Young conversation expectations

Ohtani emphasized that the biggest goal isn’t numbers — it’s staying healthy and making it through an entire season on the mound. If that happens, he believes everything else will follow.

He also shared how postseason two-way play was physically demanding in a way he hadn’t experienced before — and how that experience will shape this year’s preparation.

Shohei looks strong. Focused. Intentional.

And he’s just getting started.
