The Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office has recently indicted Tsuguhiko Kadokawa, 79, the chairman of major publishing company KADOKAWA, for bribing a former director of the organizing committee of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics. Tsuguhiko Kadokawa, chairman of major publishing company KADOKAWA, was indicted for bribery. According to the special investigation department, Kadokawa asked Haruyuki Takahashi, 78, who was a director of the organizing committee of the Games, to be selected as an Olympic sponsor. It is suspected that he gave a bribe of yen. The special investigation unit had already arrested and indicted two people, including former senior managing director of KADOKAWA Yoshiyuki Yoshihara (64), on suspicion of bribery, and Kadokawa was later arrested for colluding with the two. In an interview before his arrest, Kadokawa denied the allegations, saying he was “absolutely not” aware of his bribery. ▼TBS NEWS DIG official website https://newsdig.tbs.co.jp/ ▼Please subscribe to the channel! http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6AG81pAkf6Lbi_1VC5NmPA?sub_confirmation=1 ▼Provide information here “TBS Insiders” https://www.tbs.co.jp/news_sp/tbs-insiders.html ▼Provide video Click here for “TBS Scoop Post” https://www.tbs.co.jp/news_sp/toukou.html
