Now this game was a special moment in gaming history. As you all probably know, Mario and Sonic The Hedgehog are the most iconic, recognizable characters of all time even today. Way back in the past, these two representing Nintendo and Sega, have been rivals in the gaming industry and from what I’ve heard, you were either a Nintendo kid or a Sega kid. I didn’t even know Sonic existed until Sonic Adventure 2 so I completely missed all that since no one around me knew who Sonic was either so I was definitely a Nintendo kid all the way. To finally have these two iconic characters and most of their friends together in the same game was something the gaming community had been waiting for for a long time. Even if competing in the Olympics probably wasn’t what everyone had in mind this was still a huge moment and spawned a whole series of games following after. The Main Menu Theme in particular always really sounded very grand and epic to me, which is to be expected for the Olympic Games which is a huge event in and of itself, and I wanted to see if I could make a cover out of it. I’m pretty satisfied with the results and I hope you’ll enjoy my Guitar Cover of the Main Menu Theme from Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games!
