The plans for the new route have been revealed. Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike: “The coastal area is a region that will continue to develop. I expect that area to expand further.” The plan is to connect Ginza, Tsukiji, Kachidoki, Harumi, and Toyosu Market along the way. In the coastal area, the demand for new routes is expected to be high, as further population growth is expected, including urban development on the site of the former athletes’ village for the Tokyo Olympics.
