Fortuna Düsseldorf have signed Ao Tanaka, previously on loan from Kawasaki Frontale. The midfielder has a contract with the Red and Whites until June 30, 2025. Ao Tanaka has been playing for Fortuna since last summer. In the home game against Hansa Rostock, the 23-year-old scored his first goal as a Düsseldorfer. Overall, the Japanese international (nine internationals, one goal) has made 27 competitive appearances for Fortuna so far this season.
