The Japan Professional Footballers’ Association (JPFA) has decided to establish a new “JPFA Award” to recognize outstanding players among JPFA players. The purpose of establishing the JPFA Awards is to make more people aware of professional football players and to create opportunities for them to create topics for the start of the season. The “JPFA Award” is a total of 4 categories of “Best Player Award” (1 each), 3 categories of J1, J2, and J3 leagues, and the “JPFA” category, which is selected from players belonging to the JPFA regardless of the league. A total of 48 people will be awarded, including 10 people / 4 people in total) and “Best Eleven” (11 people each / 44 people in total).
