On June 26, the JPFA (Japan Professional Footballers’ Association) regular general meeting/post-competition press conference was held in Tokyo. At the press conference, association president Maya Yoshida (Schalke), director Junki Koike (Tokyo V), Yoshiro Toshima (Kashiwa), Fumiya Hayakawa (Niigata), Keita Hidaka (FC Osaka), Saori Ariyoshi (Omiya Ardija) VENTUS), and Auditor Koji Yamada (Gunma) attended. When asked about the rumored shift to the J.League’s autumn/spring system, Yoshida said, “I can’t announce anything to everyone at this stage, but talks are progressing. Facilities, treatment, support for the snow country team, things like that.
