Japan defender Kou Itakura celebrated his birthday with his teammates on Saturday as they continued their preparations for the Asian Cup knockout stage.
Itakura, who plays as a center-back or defensive midfielder for Bundesliga Borussia Monchengladbach, turned 27 on Saturday.
While the Samurai Blue have six days to prepare for the next match, students from the Japan School of Doha visited the training base and interacted with the players before and after the training session.
Japan finished second in Group D and will face Bahrain in the knockout stage on 31st January.
