Passionate guidance from Tokyo Olympics gold medalist Mayu Mukoda[Wrestling players exchange meeting]

On October 2nd, the “Olympic Wrestling Athletes Exchange Meeting” was held at our school’s gymnasium, and Mayu Mukoda, gold medalist in the women’s 53kg wrestling category at the Tokyo Olympics, and coach Shidochi visited the school. This player exchange event was made possible by the fact that Coach Shibata and Coach Shidochi of our school’s wrestling club were classmates at university. Junior wrestlers from within the prefecture participated and received direct instruction from Mukoda. *Although the state of emergency has been declared and priority measures to prevent the spread of the disease have been lifted, the event was held after participants took preventive measures against infectious diseases, such as having their temperatures taken and regularly disinfecting their hands and mats.
