The athletes departed from Hung Hom on two open-top buses. After touring Nathan Road and Canton Road, they attended a welcoming ceremony held by the SAR government, the China Hong Kong Sports Association and the Olympic Committee at the West Kowloon Cultural District Opera Centre.
