The third day of the Paris Olympics, on the 28th, saw the men’s 66kg judo competition, where Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Abe Hifumi won the gold medal, achieving his second consecutive victory. In men’s individual epee fencing, Kano Koki became the first Japanese athlete to reach the top of an individual event. In women’s street skateboarding, Yoshizawa Ren won the gold medal, with Akama Rinne winning the silver medal.
