Ryan Crouser is undoubtedly one of the greatest athletes in the history of the shot put. Born in Portland, Oregon, and raised in Boring, he has always had athletics in his blood, coming from a family of successful throwers.
His father Mitch, a discus thrower, and uncles Brian and Dean have inspired the young Crouser since childhood.
But it was Ryan who took the Crouser name to the roof of the world.At 201 cm tall and weighing 124 kg, Ryan follows a strict calorie diet of up to 6000 calories during major competitions.
