Born without a fibula in her right leg, Beatriz underwent a below-the-knee amputation as a young child. Undeterred, she embraced sports from an early age, excelling in softball, basketball, soccer, karate, and skiing, and later finding her passion in track and field. Her talent and perseverance earned her the title of 2018 U.S. Paralympics Track & Field High School Female Athlete of the Year.

Beatriz is a two-time Paralympian and a bronze medalist. At the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, she clinched bronze in the Women’s T64 Long Jump and placed 5th in the 200m. In Tokyo 2020, she placed 5th in the long jump and competed in both the 100m and 200m T64, finishing 6th in both events. Her success continues at the World Championships, where she most recently won bronze in the 200m T64 at the 2024 edition, adding to her impressive track record.
