KT travelled down to the 2025 Maurie Plant Meet in Melbourne to watch (and video tape) some amazing athletes compete. This race is the John Landy 1500m featuring the likes of Cameron Myers, Adam Spencer, Jude Thomas, Oliver Hoare, Samuel Tanner and the young gun Sam Ruthe.
Peter Bol showed that he has the legs to run 1500m as an 800m specialist. The guy never ceases to surprise.
Japan had one athlete in the field Ryoji Tatezawa but we missed him crossing the finish line. He didn’t run at his full potential today as it’s not the Japanese track season just yet, it starts from now and into the coming months. They will be preparing for the World Championships in Tokyo in September.
This was such an exciting meet to be a part of and I hope that some day KT will be running with the likes of these athletes.
