Shohei Ohtani on Paternity List | Dodgers Star Expecting First Child with Wife Mamiko

Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani has been placed on the MLB paternity list as he and his wife Mamiko await the birth of their first child. Manager Dave Roberts confirmed that Ohtani is currently away from the team during their series against the Texas Rangers. Ohtani can miss up to three games and may return during the Dodgers’ upcoming matchup with the Chicago Cubs.

Ohtani, 30, and Mamiko, 28, a former professional basketball player from Japan, shared the exciting baby news back in December 2024 with an adorable Instagram post. The baseball world is celebrating this personal milestone for one of MLB’s biggest stars.
