Ann Packer MBE, Tokyo 1964 Olympic 800m champion and world record-holder, speaks with Athletics Weekly at the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run.
Having already won a silver medal in the 400m, Ann created one of the stories of the Tokyo Games, taking the 800m gold in a world record.
She was in Manchester to start the Great Manchester Run 10km event alongside Dame Kelly Holmes and Keely Hodgkinson, the first time the three Olympic 800m champions had come together.
