The Los Angeles Angels have reportedly agreed to a three-year, $63 million contract with left-handed pitcher Yusei Kikuchi, pending a successful physical. Kikuchi, 33, will earn $21 million annually, bringing his total MLB earnings to $142 million over his career. A former All-Star with Seattle in 2021, Kikuchi posted a solid 9-10 record with a 4.05 ERA in 32 starts in 2024, splitting the season between Toronto and Houston. His performance with the Astros was particularly strong, going 5-1 with a 2.70 ERA in 10 starts. Kikuchi brings a strong fastball and experience from stints with Seattle, Toronto, and Houston.
