The Italian rhythmic gymnastics team at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris was best known for individual gymnast Sofia Raffaeli, who won also bronze in the individual all-around. The group also delivered a strong performance and and captured bronze in the group all-around final. Their routine featured Ennio Morricone’s “L’estasi dell’oro” (The Ecstasy of Gold), famously known from the soundtrack of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
