“SELL THE TEAM!” Chants Erupt at Angel Stadium During a Blowout by the A’s!

It was September 6, 2025, and the Angels were paying against the Athletics at Angel Stadium. The game started out with Yusei Kikuchi striking out A’s leadoff hitter and catcher, Shea Langeliers for his 1,000th career home run. However, the A’s ended up blowing out the Angels and Angel fans became frustrated and started “Sell the Team!” chants in the later innings.
