Hamburger SV won the basement duel at 1. FC Heidenheim and thus scored hugely important points in the relegation battle of the Bundesliga. You can find all the highlights from the first and second Bundesliga from midnight on Monday morning in the ARD media library and on sportschau.de: https://www.sportschau.de/fussball/bundesliga/index.html We look forward to a subscription to Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sportschau Check out our website: https://www.sportschau.de Our Sportschau themed world in the media library: https://www.ardmediathek.de/sport/ The first chance the Heidenheimers had. After a beautiful cross from Arijon Ibrahimović, Niklas Dorsch shot directly at goal after a short turn, HSV keeper Daniel Heuer Fernandes was able to punch the ball away. Then the HSV invited the Heidenheimers to score goals. Miro Muheim played the ball into the feet of Marvin Pieringer in his own half, who immediately shot but missed the box left by Heuer Fernandes. When it came to the playing facilities, Hamburg were the better team. Calmly and deliberately, we patiently moved forward again and again. And the North Germans then got their chances and took command. After just under 25 minutes, HSV made a serious appearance at the front for the first time. With a powerful shot from 18 meters, Albert Lokonga forced goalkeeper Diant Ramaj to make a strong save. Then Ramaj cleared a Muheim cross just in front of Bakery Jatta, who was ready to take a shot, and Fabio Vieira put the technically demanding second ball over the crossbar from eight meters. The Heidenheimers, on the other hand, had almost nothing going on going forward. Hamburg’s lead was in the air and it fell in stoppage time in the first half. Philip Otele played a nice pass to the attacking Königsdörffer, who scored with a powerful left-foot shot from eleven meters to give the visitors a deserved 1-0 lead. As at the beginning of the game, the Heidenheimers came out of the locker room with a little more force and looked for risks early on. However, there were no more than a few half chances, and the final third lacked accuracy, penetration and quality. Patrick Mainka had the best chance, but Heuer Fernandes failed with a powerful header from Marnon Busch’s cross. The goalkeeper had to do everything he could. FCH coach Frank Schmidt tried everything from the outside line and brought in new offensive forces with Budu Zivzivadze, Mathias Honsak, Sirlord Conteh, Stefan Schimmer and Adrian Beck. And then HSV could thank its goalkeeper. Heuer Fernandes scratched headers from Benedikt Gimber and Eren Dinkci from the corner during a Heidenheim double chance. Right in the middle of Heidenheim’s pressure phase, HSV struck ice cold. It was Philippe who completed a nice counterattack over Vieira to make it 2-0. Shortly afterwards, the Heidenheimers were unlucky when a goal from Schimmer was not counted due to an offside position. Starting lineups: FC Heidenheim: Ramaj – Busch, P.
