The 2026 outdoor sprint season is officially underway! Olympic and World Champion Noah Lyles of the USA has made a massive statement at the Seiko Golden Grand Prix in Tokyo, Japan.
Running into a slight breeze, Lyles showcased his legendary top-end speed, pulling away from a highly competitive field in the final 40 meters to clock a world-class 9.95 seconds. Canadaโs Jerome Blake pushed hard to claim second, while USA’s rising star Jordan Anthony secured the third spot on the podium.
