(AP) Sixty-two year old Andrew Hoy of Australia has become oldest medallist at the Tokyo 2020, having won a silver and bronze medal in equestrian at his eighth Olympic Games.
Hoy made his debut at the 1984 Los Angeles Games, has won four Olypics medals so far in his career and does not intend to stop with Tokyo either. Hoy missed the Rio Olympics in 2016.
Speaking on Tuesday, Hoy said, “your question about 2032, in between Paris and also Brisbane is going to be Los Angeles. There is a lot of work to be done.”
Hoy won bronze medal in the individual Eventing and came back to win a silver in the team competition.
