The Japan national soccer team (SAMURAI BLUE) has begun a domestic training camp in Chiba City, ahead of the start of the FIFA World Cup North and Central America Tournament. The second day, May 26th, saw the same lineup as the first day, and full-scale preparations for the tournament were underway. The current training camp, led by coach Hajime Moriyasu, has a thorough coaching system, with former national team leaders such as coach Hiroshi Nanami and coach Makoto Hasebe on the coaching staff. Due to the timing of the end of the season for overseas teams being different, on this day, training was full of enthusiasm despite the limited number of players, centered on the 13 players who had entered training camp in advance. For tactical guidance, coaches Hiroshi Nanami and Makoto Hasebe can be seen directly talking to the players on the pitch, injecting their veteran experience into the young team. In addition, previous tournament captain Maya Yoshida (LA Galaxy/USA), who was called up to replace Kaoru Mitoma and Takumi Minamino who were sidelined due to injury, with a strong desire for the World Cup, also joined the training camp and is already showing his presence as the team’s spiritual support. The total of 26 members currently participating in the training camp or being invited for the future are as follows.[GK]Ayane Suzuki (Parma Calcio/Italy) Keisuke Osako (Sanfrecce Hiroshima) Yuki Hayakawa (Kashima Antlers)[DF]Yuto Nagatomo (FC Tokyo) Shogo Taniguchi (Sint-Truiden VV/Belgium) Akira Itakura (Ajax/Netherlands) Tsuyoshi Watanabe (Feyenoord/Netherlands) Takehiro Tomiyasu (Ajax/Netherlands) Hiroki Ito (Bayern Munich/Germany) Ayumu Seko (Le Havre AC/France) Yuse Sugawara (Werder Bremen/Germany) Junnosuke Suzuki (FC Copenhagen/Denmark) Maya Yoshida (LA Galaxy/USA)[MF/FW]Wataru Endo (Liverpool FC/England) Junya Ito (KRC Genk/Belgium) Daichi Kamata (Crystal Palace/England) Koki Ogawa (NEC Nijmegen/Netherlands) Daenen Maeda (Celtic/Scotland) Ritsu Doan (Eintracht Frankfurt/Germany) Kiyo Ueda (Feyenoord/Netherlands) Aoi Tanaka (Leeds United/England) Keito Nakamura (Stade Reims/France) Kaishu Sano (Mainz 05/Germany) Takefusa Kubo (Real Sociedad/Spain) Yuito Suzuki (SC Freiburg/Germany) Kento Shiogai (VfL Wolfsburg/Germany) Keisuke Goto (Sint-Truiden VV/Belgium)
