The Tokyo District Public Prosecutor’s Office has begun searching the homes of former directors and the Dentsu headquarters because a former director of the Tokyo Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games received a large amount of money from AOKI Holdings, the sponsor of the Games. Former director Haruyuki Takahashi of the Tokyo Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games is suspected of receiving over 40 million yen as a consulting fee from the AOKI side.
