Badminton: Indian Badminton star PV Sindhu has defeated world No. 12 Mia Blichfeldt of Denmark in the straight sets to make a place in the quarter finals of the Tokyo Olympics 2020. World no 7 and the defending world champion PV Sindhu defeated Mia Blichfeldt 21-15, 21-13 in the round of 16 to book a place in top 8. Before the match Sindhu said that she had to play an aggressive game against an opponent who had an aggressive style too. Sindhu did the same and finished the match in just 40 odd minutes. Sindhu will now face Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi to book a place in the semifinals. Sindhu has won 11 times out of 18 against the Japanese shuttler.
