The Tokyo District Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Japan Fair Trade Commission have newly searched the houses of two event production companies in the bid-rigging case surrounding the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic test competitions. Tokyo-based event production companies Shimizu Octo and Torres are being searched for suspected violations of the Antimonopoly Act. The two companies are believed to have been involved in the work as subcontractors of the company that won the bid for the test competition planning work. This morning, the Special Investigation Department and the Japan Fair Trade Commission also searched the homes of the Dentsu Group’s event company “Dentsu Live” and advertising giant “ADK Marketing Solutions.” The house search over the case was the third day after Dentsu last week and Hakuhodo yesterday, and eight of the nine companies that won the bid were searched. # All-you-can-watch Olympic rigging WBS, Mosate, Dawn of Gaia, Cambrian Palace, and more!
