Lighting of the cauldron for the competition period[Tokyo 2020 Olympics]

The torch, which was lit on the cauldron at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Stadium, was moved after the opening ceremony and was installed on the Ariake side of Yume-no-ohashi Bridge in the Tokyo waterfront area around 0:50 am on Saturday, July 24. The cauldron for the competition period was lit. The Olympic Cauldron is the first cauldron in the history of the Games to be powered by hydrogen, just like the cauldron in the Olympic Stadium. It continued to light until the fire was extinguished at the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games on August 8th.
