KRC Genk has an agreement in principle with Stade Reims regarding the transfer of Junya Ito. This morning Junya said goodbye to players & staff before heading to Reims for the medical. The transfer will be officialized and announced very soon. Junya: “I would like to thank everyone for the great time at this beautiful club. The staff members, the employees and of course the fantastic supporters. It was an honor to be able to play here in this beautiful stadium, where I felt at home. And to hear my name chanted. I would also like to expressly thank the club for giving me this opportunity. We have had intense conversations over the past few days, where I felt that they wanted me very much to keep me here.
