Fit-again Copper Queens striker Hellen Mubanga is back in the national team for the first-time since featuring at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games (played in 2021).

Mubanga has set her sights on cementing her place in the Copper Queens setup as they prepare for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand in July.

Zambia are in Group C alongside Spain, Costa Rica and Japan.
