Women’s team pursuit Japanese record improved by 2 seconds / 2023 UCI Track Nations Cup Round 1 (Jakarta)

The “UCI Track Nations Cup Round 1” will start on February 23, 2023 in Jakarta, Indonesia. On the 23rd, the first day of the tournament, the women’s team pursuit was held, and the Japanese team (Yumi Kajiwara, Mizuki Ikeda, Yuwa Uchino, Maho Kakita) ran well with a time of 4:20.053, a new Japanese record. They broke through the preliminaries in 6th place and advanced to the first round on the 24th. (The previous Japanese record was 4:22.138, set in Malaysia in 2018.)
