Japanese player Ritsu Doan shared his determination in Doha on Saturday as they continued their preparations for their round of 16 match at the World Cup.
Coach Hajime Moriyasu side finished at the top of Group E and will face World Cup 2018 runners-up Croatia, who came second of Group F, on Monday at Al Janoub Stadium.
Japan was eliminated by Belgium in the last 16 four years ago in Russia. The Japanese have never gotten past the round of 16 at the World Cup.

“We have made it through the group stage and we beat two strong countries to get here, but I believe this is just a checking point for us. So, I would like to forget all about the past and move on to the next match.”
