Minnesota Twins pitcher Kenta Maeda received good news after an MRI revealed no structural damage in his right elbow. Maeda was scratched from his scheduled start against the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday due to discomfort in his elbow. The Japanese pitcher has been an important part of the Twins’ starting rotation, posting a 2-2 record and 5.27 ERA in six starts this season. The 33-year-old was acquired by the Twins in a trade with the Los Angeles Dodgers before the 2020 season and finished runner-up in the American League Cy Young Award voting.
