The Minnesota Twins celebrate Independence Day by blasting three home runs in a nine-run performance for the lineup. Max Kepler, Donovan Solano and Byron Buxton all had big games. Kenta Maeda kept the Royals at bay over seven innings and recorded nine strikeouts. Down in the minors, Austin Martin recorded his first Triple-A hit, Pierson Ohl struck out nine batters for Wichita and Ben Ross stepped up and delivered for Cedar Rapids.
