Tokyo Olympics African Continental Championship 3rd Place Match Burkina Faso VS Zimbabwe May 5, 2019 Burkina Faso still has a short history of baseball, and it has been exactly 10 years since Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers joined the team in 2008. Although we passed the West African Championship in first place after gaining a variety of experiences in a limited environment, we were able to participate in the tournament with a limited number of people on a very small budget. You have to overcome many challenges just to participate. Looking back, I still participated, and even though I wasn’t in perfect condition, I finished 4th in Africa, but it was definitely a challenge that would lead me to the next one. Although some time has passed, I would like to once again express my gratitude to the Burkina Faso Baseball Federation, players, and everyone involved who supported everything.
