Arguably the best player in all of baseball, Dodgers phenom Shohei Ohtani, has been scuffling at the plate a bit in the 2026 MLB season – but he launched his 9th home run of the year, a solo blast to lead off the bottom of the 1st inning in the Los Angeles 4-1 win over the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday, May 27th.
This one came on a one-one 93.7 mile per hour 4-seam fastball that Ohtani blistered to center field, leaving the park with a projected exit velocity of 111.3 MPH and traveled 424 feet.
