On the 8th, Japan national team coach Hajime Moriyasu paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in Kasumigaseki, Tokyo, after completing the World Cup North and Central America tri-nation tournament. They visited with Japan Association President Tsuneyasu Miyamoto, technical committee chairman and national team director Masakuni Yamamoto, defender Ko Itakura, midfielder Daizen Maeda, and defender Yusei Sugawara, and presented Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Yohei Matsumoto with a uniform signed by the players. He also introduced the “Moriyasu notebook,” in which coaches write notes during games.
