“The arm is fine… it’s just more of going down the slope.”
Roberts added that Ohtani himself wanted to throw the bullpen and emphasized the Dodgers trust him because no one understands his body better than he does.
The Dodgers manager also shared positive updates on Edwin Díaz, saying the reliever is expected to complete another rehab appearance before being ready to return, while Kiké Hernández continues making progress.
