The JFA has officially extended Hajime Moriyasu’s contract until the 2027 Asian Cup. Even though he has not won a title in his six years coaching Japan, Moriyasu has the last chance to bring the Blue Samurai to become champions. Interestingly, Japan will start their struggle in the 2027 Asian Cup by facing the Indonesian national team. After the tournament ends, Moriyasu’s position will be replaced by Go Oiwa.
