The 16th Paralympic Summer Games took place from 24 August – 5 September 2021. 4,400 athletes competed in 539 medal events in 22 disciplines. Ottobock was the official Technical Service Partner in Tokyo and provided the athletes with a maintenance and repair service free of charge. 106 technical experts from 24 countries supported the Paralympians and Paralympic Family with their expertise and great enthusiasm. From simply inflating a wheelchair tire to complex repairs. Overall, 2083 repairs were carried out.
