Trout, who hit a three-run dinger to help Team USA beat Canada 12-1 on Sunday, did not bat an eyelid when a reporter told him that Ohtani went deep against Australia on Sunday.
USA will qualify for the quarterfinals if they beat Colombia in their next Pool C game.
